Protesters Shutdown West County Mall

RICHMOND HEIGHTS, MO (KTVI)- Demonstrators boycotting Black Friday staged a Mass Die in at the St. Louis Galleria Friday afternoon. The mall was closed for a few hours but has now reopened.

The movement was organized on social media using the hashtags #NotOneDime, #Blacklivesmatter and #Stlblackfriday.

Protesters laid on the floor of the mall for four and a half minutes of silence to represent #MikeBrown‘s blood on the ground.

According to various social media posts, police let the protesters peacefully demonstrate.

No arrests have been made.

Protestors have moved from the Galleria to the West County Mall.  Protestors blocked the entrance to Interstate 270 at Manchester Road/Des Peres.
