West Coast rapper YG was shot at a recording studio in Los Angeles early Friday morning
Details are extremely scarce at the moment, Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, the shooting happened at around 1:45 a.m. in Studio City and YG was shot 3 times in the hip.
According to TMZ, somehow the rapper was able to get in his car and someone from his group drove him to a nearby hospital.
Cops were called and found multiple shell casings and blood on the sidewalk. Police went to the hospital to interview YG but we are told he was “very uncooperative.”

YG’s injuries are “not life threatening” and he’s “doing fine,” though the shooter has reportedly not been located. We’re told the shooter is still on the loose.
YG has been on the scene since 2009 and made a name for himself with the songs “My N*gga” (ft. Rich Homie Quan) and “Who Do You Love?” (ft. Drake).
The 25-year-old co-wrote the screenplay with director Darryl “Lucky” Rodgers, drawing inspiration from two key tracks, “BPT” and “Meet the Flockers,” in an effort to depict his “life in the streets.”
