Zanetta L. Yearby, the girlfriend of rapper Hussein Fatal, has been charged with DUI after crashing her vehicle in Georgia early Friday morning (July 10), subsequently killing the rapper after he ejected from his car seat.
In addition, Yearby, 31, has been charged with failure to maintain lane, no proof of insurance, first-degree vehicular homicide, and reckless driving, the publication cites Cpl. Dallas Vanscoten of Georgia State Patrol Post 6 in Gainesville as saying.
Reportedly, Yearby’s black Dodge Challenger was traveling south on Interstate 85 at Georgia 15 (U.S. 441), when the vehicle crashed near the exit at about 2:30 am early Friday morning (July 10).
Hussein Fatal, who was a member of Tupac’s Rap group The Outlawz, was ejected and subsequently killed. The Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team is currently investigating the incident.
Fatal’s body will return to his home of Montclair, N.J., where his funeral will be held.
A gofundme account set up to help Washington’s family with funeral expenses had raised $9,150 of its $10,000 goal as of 11 p.m. Monday.
