Master P Says: “Kobe Bryant Could Have Done More To Help Lamar Odom”

Hip Hop artist/actor Master P, real name Percy Miller, says he was a mentor to Lamar Odom … according to Master P.

But when asked about the Odom situation by TMZ on Wednesday, he had some harsh words for Kobe Bryant, who is Odom’s friend.

Master P is best known as a rapper and an entrepreneur who founded the record label No Limit Records which was extremely successful in the late 1990’s and the early 2000’s.

Some of the bigger artists on his label were Snoop Dogg and Mystikal.

Master P believes that the NBA “blackballed” Odom because of his involvement with Khloe Kardashian and the fact that he was constantly on the VH1 TV show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”

Miller also didn’t care that Bryant vistited Odom in the hospital because he felt it meant nothing and he even went as far as to calling Kobe a “phony.”

“If Kobe was his friend…Kobe, like, owns the Lakers. He could’ve got the man back on the team. That’s all he wanted,”

said Miller.

Master P. played in the NBA himself: two preseasons with the Raptors and Hornets. Most recently he played with the CBA Fort Wayne Fury, in 2004.

He’s also starting his own reality show soon.
