West 38, debuted a track with his whole “The Life of Pablo” album with a grand listening party/Yeezy fashion show at Madison Square Garden on Thursday which was streamed live to over 20 million people. via Tidal (Feb. 11) and on it he raps,
“For all my Southside n—-s who will know me best / I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why, I made that bitch famous / God damn / I made that bitch famous,”
the father of two recites on the fourth track off T.L.O.P..
The lyrics allude to the 2009 MTV VMAs when West interrupted Swift’s Best Female Video acceptance speech.
Taylor Swift was as shocked as her fans were to hear about Kanye West’s rap diss.
Austin Swift didn’t appreciate the mention of his older sister and took to throwing away his Yeezy sneakers, posting a video to Instagram. He included the caption,
“Getting a head start on some spring cleaning. Here we go again.”
Swift’s close friend Gigi Hadid — who was at the Yeezy Season 3 show — also commented online, explaining,
“My attendance somewhere does not mean I agree with everything being said in the music playing there.
My friends know of my loyalty.”
“I’m so sad right now & disappointed right now. I stand by my sister. Always,”
Needless to say Swift’s fans are plenty peeved as well.
After hearing the line, Swift fans took to social media to question West’s claims of Swift’s fame, as well as that other bit.
