It’s the 58th Grammy Awards, and it was a big night for several stars, from Taylor Swift to Kendrick Lamar.
Paul McCartney, however, had quite the unique experience when he tried to enter Argyle Nightclub in Los Angeles forTyga‘s Grammys After Party.
By unique we mean, he was not allowed to enter, twice, thanks to an audacious security guard.
McCartney, who was flanked by Beck and a drummer from the Foo Fighters, kept things light-hearted even with the TMZ cameras rolling, and joked that maybe he needed another hit.
McCartney can be heard poking fun at the situation, saying,
“How VIP do we gotta get? We need another hit”.
Tyga then hopped on his timeline Tuesday (Feb. 16) to tweet his true feelings about the 18-time Grammy winner.
“Why would I deny @PaulMcCartney stop it. He’s a legend [—-] ,” he wrote.
“I don’t control the door. I had no knowledge SIR PAUL was there. I just performed and left.”
Footage taken outside the Argyle in Hollywood shows the Beatles star, who was joined by Beck, Woody Harrelson and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, getting turned away on two separate occasions.
