Atlanta Rapper ‘Bankroll Fresh’ Shot and Killed

Rising Atlanta MC Bankroll Fresh was shot and killed last night (March 4) in Atlanta, according to multiple sources.

11Alive is reporting the shooting incident occurred outside of Street Execs studio.

Police responded to a call of shots fired around 11 p.m. at the northeast Atlanta studio.

When cops arrived, they found Bankroll, 28, shot multiple times.

He was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities also recovered 50 shell casings from the scene.

No one else was reportedly hit or injured during the gunfire.

Bankroll, born Trentavious White, was one of several artists under 2 Chainz’s Street Execs management team.

The west Atlanta MC with the 1998 Cash Money Records swag set fire to the streets with his 2014 mixtape, Life of a Hot Boy, which featured the bass-heavy breakout hit, “Hot Boy,” produced by Cassius Jay.

Last August, he dropped his mixtape Life of a Hotboy 2: Real Trapper.

In November, Bankroll put out his latest self-titled project.

He continued to build his resume featuring on songs with the likes of 2 Chainz, B.o.B, T.I., Wiz Khalifa and Que.

Word of his death is quickly starting to get around in the hip-hop community.

2 Chainz took to Instagram and posted a picture of his late friend along with the caption,

“We jus fucked Charlotte up! It was all good few days ago R.I.P Bru.”

He later posted a second picture calling Fresh an

“atl legend” with “infinite potential.”

Upon hearing the news of White’s death, many big names in the rap community took to Twitter to express their sorrow.

Rappers Lil Wayne and Wiz Khalifa, all tweeted their condolences on Saturday morning.

“We lost a good one.

Rest peacefully lil homie Bankroll u gon always be family,”

Wayne wrote.
