Birdman stopped by New York City radio station Power 105.1 on Friday, April 22, for an interview with Angie Martinez about a wide range of topics.
The business mogul discussed his relationship with Lil Wayne, Drake’s forthcoming “Views from the 6” album, his upcoming
reality television show on BET, developing artists, the Cash Money Records biopic, signing with Universal for $30 million at age 18, reading the Bible for the first time when he went to jail and it changing his outlook on life.
Also being mentored by Minister Louis Farrakhan, growing up without his mom and dad, living in Canada for a period a while, being homeless between the ages of 10 and16, his upbringing making his heart turn cold.
Then supporting Mannie Fresh’s idea to put out a new Hot Boys album with Wayne and Juvenile, the “Rich Gang 2” project, “Ms. Gladys” solo album, his dad being a pimp, his children, digging what Uncle Murda, Maino and Rihanna are doing musically, his love for 50 Cent’s hit single “I’m the Man.”
